Janine Guy is a reputable music teacher with a passion for nurturing talent and inspiring a love for music. With more than 40 years of experience in private piano and flute tuition, Janine brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her students.

Holding qualifications such as an LTCL Teaching Diploma from Trinity College London and an ALCM Performance Diploma from the London College of Music, Janine has a solid foundation in both teaching and performance. Her career includes over 18 years of peripatetic woodwind and piano teaching with the Dorset Music Service, where she has made a significant impact on young musicians across Dorset.

Janine's dedication to her students is evident in her impressive track record, with a 100% exam pass rate and over 1000 exams successfully completed by her students, 60% of whom achieved distinction or merit. Her experience extends to being a piano accompanist for exams, diplomas, recitals, and auditions, as well as serving as an adjudicator and judge for auditions and competitions.

Beyond individual lessons, Janine has contributed to classroom music teaching through the KS2 Wider Opportunities Scheme, and she continues to be an active freelance musician and music teacher. Her commitment to safety and professionalism is underscored by her DBS clearance, Child Protection Safeguarding, Public Liability insurance, and membership in the Musicians' Union.
